The Peak Body for Pickleball in Australia, the PAA, has DOUBLED it’s member base in 12 months. And it’s estimated that there are as many as 40,000 people playing in Australia. Incredible!!!

Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in Australia. Some people say its 'the fastest growing sport you've never heard of'. We know that's all about to change! In fact, it's changing so fast that it's tough to keep up! This graphic shows you the latest stats as at 3 November 2024, and our prior graphics from March through June 2024 about the growth of this awesome sport. Why did we miss a few months? We were too busy selling paddles and playing pickleball?
That, or we are expert procrastinators.
We are hunting down knowledge - the number of dedicated courts, for example, and attendance at professional tournaments... if you're in the know, hit us up!

QLD PICKLEBALL CHAMPS IS DINKING TERRIFIC!!!
Over two days in the last weekend in June, a record 619 participants will be traveling to QLD to compete over two venues.

36.5 million players in the US, with 226% growth over the last three years, and is set to overtake Baseball for participation!
NSW Champs smashed registration numbers!
In 2019, 51 people registered for the NSW Open.
In 2023 that had grown to 296. In 2024, a whopping 677 players competed!

While in the US the average age is 18-34, here in Victoria the age of players is 57!

More than 163 local pickleball clubs, (that’s 10 more in just one month), and signs of significant investment including from Tennis Australia
